Vinegar for PETS: We love VINEGAR. It is a magnificent discovery with literally hundreds of uses and has been around for some 10,000 years. Vinegar outperforms many modern cleansers, polishers, deodorizers, bleaches, sanitizers, pet care, and other highly specialized products. Here are just a few of the things you can do with this incredibly versatile liquid.

Include a teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar to your dog's drinking water. It provides added nutrition, gives a shinier healthier-looking coat, and acts as a natural deterrent to fleas and ticks. You can also fill a spray bottle with equal parts vinegar and water and apply directly to dogs coat. Rub it in well for added protection.

The word "vinegar" derives from the Old French vin aigre, meaning "sour wine."
